THEN "OUR" LIFE BEGINS. . .
While we were gone on our honeymoon, we purchased a house and didn't even know. We had made an offer on a house that I had fell in love with from first site. Bobby on the other hand couldn't quite envision what I saw it to be, but I...... LOVED it from the start. Our offer was accepted and we came home owning a new home.
Move in wouldn't be till after closing on two houses. Selling mine was easy, we had offers and was going to get exactly what we were asking for it. And it was a good thing because the ex wanted half of it. No surprised there, just hurt, because I had kept the place up and going and in good shape and had done it on my own for a long time. Problem was 30 days before closing, our buyers backed out. So we took another offer, 2nd on the list and he dropped the price 10,000.00 dollars, but at this point, we had to make a deal.
It all worked out, just like Heavenly Father had promised. Everything was working out in our lives. Not to say that we liked everything that happened to us, but looking back, it was all supposed to be just that way.
I love my new home, still loving my new home. We did the work together. We painted everything and put our touch on it all. It's our home where we'll make our memories and our life will happen there and all of us will be a part of making that life happen. On our front porch there are 3 rocking chairs, one for Bob, one for Cathy and the little one is there to represent all our children. After all, they all couldn't have a rocking chair on the front porch, or it might look something like a football stadium ! ! !
