What a GREAT Football season ! ! !

Well as most Love Stories go, we spent just about every waking minute together, outside of our jobs. Mine didn't suffer at all, it couldn't, but Bob's might of a bit. While I was traveling all over with my job and trying to keep track of my children, Bob was following. There were many days that seemed just a blur, because they were. As the school year started and football season kicked off, we started going to almost every game. All the home games that is, except when Bob had his babies. Christian wasn't even two and too small to have out in the heat and later in the cold. But the games we were at, were so fun. I had one in color guard and it was her Senior year and she was the captain of the squad, and my Mariah was a roadie. Watching them was worth it, not to mention even if the ball game sucked and sometimes it did, we're talking Pocola here, the Half Time show was ALWAYS great. See even when Pocola's team is on the slide, the band is and always has been very, very good.
At this one particular ball game, I can't even remember who was playing, not sure even if we were winning, Brandy asked"So when are ya'll going to get married?" I just laughed and looked at Bob and said, "I guess when he asks me." Now Bobby wasn't expecting that question and he sure wasn't expecting that answer, so to say he was speechless..... well he was, for a second that is. Then he went on to say, that I said I wasn't marrying again, and that I said that I was never marrying someone that wasn't a member of my faith, and I said.................. Yeah, I said a lot, it still amazes me that he seen through all of that because he knew even before that point, that I was going to be his wife............

Moving Past the Anger. . . .

I just wanted to Blog again and not do it in anger. . . There are too many things in life that I have no control over and I can't let HER keep me from happiness. After all then she's winning. Wow where has the time gone. . . Leslie Anne is married and in ID with her sweet husband David and they have a little one on the way, IT will be here in April, what a sweet month to have a baby. Bethaney is completely certified to teach and is doing her internship and will graduate in December of this year. Mariah's 1st day of College is today. What's different in Mariah's case is she's the ONLY kid from Pocola going to OSU this year! I was proud before but even more so now. She's setting the bar high for her fellow classmates and her siblings and doing a fine job of it. How scary is it to head off to such a Great Big Place and take noone with you. . . Why does TIME, have to fly by....................

Didn't I just blog yesterday ? ? ? That's what I always say about time, wasn't that just yesterday? Days and Nights have just become a blur and summer has come to an end. All the kids are heading back to school in 2 weeks or less and yet I've only been swimming once. I wish I had the key to turn back or at least slow down time. I just attended my 25th High School Reunion, and I couldn't believe how 25 years had passed. My girl friends looked like my girl friends from High School, but I could hardly recognise the boys. I had to look close, and could only see it in their eyes. My baby turned 16 and wasn't it just yesterday when I held her in my arms thinking, how tiny she is. All the questions she asked as a child, always needed an answer, and not sure why because in her little mind she already had one, but just needed to check it against mine.
